Welcome!! Please contact the Testing Coordinator at 815-599-3680 if you have any questions about using this scheduling system. Appointments can be made up to 14 days in advance and as soon as 10 minutes prior to the start of the testing window. Clients may cancel up to 1 minute prior to the start of the testing window.

The Testing Center offers appointments Mondays through Fridays during Fall and Spring semesters, and Mondays through Thursdays during the summer semester. Additional Summer 2022 closures: Monday, May 30 and Monday, July 4.

Testing Accommodations:

If you have testing accommodations, please refrain from using this scheduling system; instead, use the form found at highland.edu/testing-center/test-accommodations-request/ to schedule with Barb Statdfield, or reach out directly to Barb with questions at 815.599.3605 or adaservices@highland.edu.

Highland Instructional Exams:

If you are a Highland Community College student making a testing appointment, please verify with your instructor that you have permission to test at our Testing Center prior to making your appointment. It is then your responsibility to notify the instructor of your scheduled testing time, so that they can provide the Testing Center with the exam or necessary testing materials/information by that time.

Specialty Testing:

Kaplan Entrance Exam test takers must pay their test fee to Alicia Kepner prior to their scheduled exam time. Receipt of payment must be shown on the day of testing. Please do not schedule Kaplan Entrance Exams for 4 pm on Mondays or Thursdays.
Accuplacer Placement Test options are Reading, Writing, and Math. If all three are needed, put All 3, in the Test Name portion of the appointment form; otherwise, please list the specific name(s) of the placement test(s) that are needed. When scheduling placement tests, a good rule of thumb is to pick a testing time that allows the test taker an hour for each test. If you are unsure which of the tests you need, please call 815-599-3680. Additionally, call if you are taking the test as a retake for additional information on our retake policies. Please do not schedule Accuplacer Placement Tests for 4 pm on Mondays or Thursdays.
PearsonVue testing must be scheduled directly through their website. Examples of available PearsonVue tests are CompTia, GED, and Food Sanitation Recertification. If you are unsure if your test qualifies as a PearsonVue test, please contact the Testing Center, or you can look at the PearsonVue site.
CLEP exams must be scheduled by phone. Please call 815-599-3680 to schedule. There are two payments for each CLEP exam, a fee paid directly to CLEP prior to the testing date, and a proctoring fee paid directly to the testing center on the day of testing (check or exact cash only). Please look at their website for all the registration details.
DSST/DANTES: There are two fees per test. One is a $100 fee that must be paid through their website prior to the test, and one is a $15 fee due in exact cash or check to the Testing Center on the day of the exam. Please view their website for more information prior to contacting us for scheduling.
Other Proctored Testing for Outside Institutions: Highland Testing Center may be able to accommodate proctoring for non-Highland tests for a fee of $25 per test due in exact cash or check on the day of testing. Please call us at 815-599-3680 to discuss proctoring options and scheduling availability.
